Padang, salingkanews.com – Wakil Ketua DPRD Sumbar, Iqra Chissa Putra terus mendorong Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) di Kota Padang bisa naik kelas.
Seperti yang disampaikan Iqra saat melaksanakan sosialisasi Peraturan Daerah (Perda) Nomor 16 Tahun 2019 tentang Pemberdayaan dan Perlindungan Koperasi dan Usaha Kecil di Kota Padang, Minggu (26/10).
Sosialisasi perda (Sosper) tersebut digelar di Balai Besar Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Kesejahteraan Sosial (BBPPKS) Kemensos, Kecamatan Pauh, dan diikuti oleh ratusan pelaku UMKM di Kota Padang.
Iqra mengatakan, selama tiga hari yaitunya dari tanggal 24-26 Oktober sebanyak 65 anggota DPRD Sumbar turun ke masyarakat melaksanakan sosialisasi perda yang dimiliki Pemerintah Provinsi Sumbar.
Ia sendiri memilih mensosialisasikan Perda Nomor 16 Tahun 2019 tentang Pemberdayaan dan Perlindungan Koperasi dan Usaha Kecil.
“Perda ini sengaja saya pilih untuk disosialisasikan karena UMKM adalah benteng pertahanan terakhir ekonomi masyarakat, khususnya yang ada di Sumatera Barat,” ujar Iqra.
Melalui sosialisasi ia berharap masyarakat bisa memahami apa saja yang diatur dalam Perda Nomor 16 Tahun 2019 untuk mendukung koperasi berkembang dan UMKM bisa naik kelas tanpa melanggar aturan yang berlaku.
“Dalam Perda ini lengkap diatur soal pengembangan usaha kecil, partisipasi masyarakat, pembiayaan, pembinaan, dan juga pengawasan. Semua hal yang diatur dalam regulasi ini kita sampaikan hari ini agar masyarakat bisa memahami,” katanya.
Lebih lanjut, Iqra juga menyempatkan berdialog dengan peserta sosialiasi. Berbagai persoalan disampaikan kepadanya, yang paling menonjol adalah soal keterbatasan modal dan fasilitas untuk pengembangan usaha yang masih dihadapi pelaku UMKM.
Menanggapi ini, Iqra meminta tim yang mendampinginya dalam kegiatan tersebut mencatat apa yang menjadi keluhan dari masyarakat pelaku UMKM, untuk nantinya diperjuangkan melalui program di Pemerintah Provinsi Sumbar.
Dalam kesempatan itu Iqra juga memberikan bantuan langsung kepada sejumlah peserta untuk tambahan modal dan membeli peralatan pada usaha yang mereka jalankan.
Diketahui juga, sosialisasi perda yang dilaksanakan Iqra Chissa menghadirkan narasumber dari Dinas Koperasi dan UMKM Provinsi Sumatera Barat.
Dengan pemaparan dari dinas ia berharap peserta sosialisasi bisa mendapatkan informasi yang lebih jelas terkait langkah-langkah untuk pengembangan usaha, proses untuk mendapatkan bantuan dan yang lain-lainnya.
“Kita menghadirkan pihak dari Dinas Koperasi dan UMKM sebagai narasumber. Mudah-mudahan dengan ini pelaku UMKM yang hadir sebagai peserta Sosper bisa terbantu dalam meningkatkan usahanya” ucap Iqra. (*)
