Padang, salingkanews.com – Ketua DPRD Sumatera Barat, Muhidi menggelar sosialisasi Peraturan Daerah (Perda) Nomor 2 Tahun 2023 tentang Pengembangan Ekonomi Kreatif (Ekraf) di Kota Padang, Minggu, (26/10/2025).
Kegiatan tersebut dihadiri Pejabat Fungsional Bidang Ekonomi Kreatif Dinas Pariwisata Sumbar, Nike Pernanda, serta ratusan peserta dari Kecamatan Padang Selatan dan Padang Timur.
Dalam sambutannya, Muhidi menjelaskan bahwa kegiatan ini bertujuan mengedukasi masyarakat, terutama generasi muda, mengenai pentingnya memahami dan mengembangkan sektor ekonomi kreatif.
Ia menilai, kreativitas harus tumbuh dari para pelaku ekonomi itu sendiri agar mampu menciptakan produk yang bernilai tinggi.
“Sosialisasi ini menjadi sarana membangun kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya kolaborasi dan inovasi dalam menciptakan usaha kreatif baru di Sumatera Barat,” ujar Muhidi.
Lebih lanjut, ia menyebut ada beberapa langkah potensial untuk mengembangkan ekonomi kreatif, seperti identifikasi potensi lokal, pemanfaatan teknologi digital, serta membangun jejaring dan kolaborasi antar pelaku usaha.
“Ekonomi kreatif bertumpu pada ide, inovasi, dan kreativitas. Semua itu akan kuat jika dilakukan secara bersama,” tegasnya.
Muhidi menilai, sektor ekonomi kreatif kini menjadi salah satu penopang pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah. Menurutnya, ide-ide baru harus terus dimunculkan agar masyarakat dapat mandiri dan berdaya saing.
Ia berharap kegiatan sosialisasi ini mampu memotivasi masyarakat Padang untuk memaksimalkan potensi lokal dan melahirkan lebih banyak inovasi di berbagai bidang.
“Harapan saya, masyarakat tidak berhenti berkreasi. Dari ide sederhana bisa lahir ekonomi baru yang bermanfaat,” tutupnya. (*)
