Pasaman Barat, salingkanews.com – Anggota Komisi II DPRD Provinsi Sumatera Barat, Ali Muda melaksanakan kegiatan Sosialisasi Peraturan Daerah (Perda) Nomor 7 Tahun 2019 tentang Penyelenggaraan Ketenagakerjaan, di MDA Jorong Parit, Nagari Parit, Kecamatan Koto Balingka, Kabupaten Pasaman Barat, Minggu (26/10/2025).
Dalam kegiatan tersebut, Ali Muda menekankan pentingnya pemahaman masyarakat dan para pelaku usaha terhadap regulasi yang mengatur hubungan kerja antara pekerja dan pemberi kerja.
Menurut Ali Muda, persoalan ketenagakerjaan di Pasaman Barat cukup kompleks, mengingat daerah ini menjadi salah satu wilayah dengan banyak investor di sektor perkebunan.
“Persoalan ketenagakerjaan di Pasaman Barat cukup banyak dan beragam. Karena itu, penting bagi masyarakat dan perusahaan untuk memahami hak dan kewajiban masing-masing agar tidak terjadi kesalahpahaman dalam hubungan kerja,” ujar Ali Muda.
Ia juga menambahkan, Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Barat berkomitmen kuat melindungi tenaga kerja, baik yang bekerja di sektor formal maupun informal.
“Melalui sosialisasi ini, diharapkan masyarakat mengetahui aturan yang dapat melindungi mereka dari praktik ketenagakerjaan yang tidak sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan,” harap Ali Muda.
Kegiatan sosialisasi tersebut turut dihadiri oleh Kasi Pemerintahan Nagari Parit Elflaizar, Sekretaris Dinas Tenaga Kerja Provinsi Sumatera Barat Rini Yuliet, serta Kepala UPTD Pengawasan Wilayah II, Patrianus Syahiid.
Mereka menyampaikan berbagai informasi terkait penerapan Perda Nomor 7 Tahun 2019, termasuk mekanisme pengawasan ketenagakerjaan, perlindungan bagi pekerja lokal, serta pentingnya sinergi antara pemerintah nagari, perusahaan, dan masyarakat.
