di Komplek Polda Balai Baru, Kota Padang. Dalam kesempatan itu, Evi Yandri menekankan pentingnya peran lembaga pendidikan keagamaan dalam membentuk karakter generasi muda agar terhindar dari berbagai ancaman sosial.
Ia mengingatkan masyarakat, khususnya para guru, untuk lebih waspada terhadap permasalahan sosial yang mengincar anak-anak dan remaja, seperti penyalahgunaan narkotika dan penyimpangan seksual (LGBT). Menurutnya, data menunjukkan bahwa lebih dari 60 persen peredaran narkoba menyasar kalangan remaja.
“Tantangan sosial anak-anak kita hari ini jauh lebih berat. Narkoba dan LGBT menjadi ancaman nyata. Karena itu, TPQ tidak boleh hanya fokus pada hafalan Al-Qur’an, tetapi juga harus berperan membentuk karakter dan daya tahan anak terhadap pengaruh negatif lingkungan,” ujarnya.
Evi Yandri juga mengapresiasi semangat gotong royong masyarakat yang berhasil menyelesaikan pembangunan gedung TPQ dua lantai tersebut. Ia menyebut, pembangunan awal hanya didukung bantuan dana sebesar Rp50 juta. Namun, berkat partisipasi aktif jamaah dan warga sekitar, bangunan tersebut berhasil diselesaikan dengan baik dan representatif.
“Ini bentuk kolaborasi yang luar biasa. Tanpa partisipasi masyarakat, mustahil gedung ini bisa berdiri megah seperti sekarang. Ini bukan sekadar tempat belajar, tapi benteng moral dan akidah generasi muda kita,” ucapnya.
Ia berharap, keberadaan gedung baru TPQ Miftahul Jannah dapat menjadi pusat pembinaan akhlak dan nilai keislaman yang kuat bagi anak-anak di lingkungan sekitar. Pemerintah, kata dia, akan terus mendorong penguatan lembaga-lembaga pendidikan informal seperti TPQ agar dapat menjangkau lebih banyak anak dan remaja.
Peresmian gedung ditandai dengan pengguntingan pita dan peninjauan ruangan oleh Ketua Sementara DPRD Sumbar, didampingi pengurus masjid, tokoh masyarakat, serta orang tua santri. Kegiatan ini juga dirangkaikan dengan doa bersama dan penyerahan simbolis bantuan pembinaan TPQ.
Sementara itu, salah satu warga yang turut hadir dalam peresmian tersebut Marni menyampaikan apresiasinya atas berdirinya gedung TPQ. Ia menyebut, kehadiran fasilitas pendidikan berbasis keagamaan seperti TPQ Miftahul Jannah sangat penting untuk mencetak generasi yang berkualitas dan berlandaskan nilai-nilai agama.
