Pasaman, salingkanews.com – Anggota Komisi IV DPRD Provinsi Sumatera Barat, Muzli M. Nur mensosialisasikan Perda No 1 tahun 2025 Tentang Cara Pengelolaan Sampah Organik, Anorganik dan Sampah B3 kepada masyarakat Nagari Durian Tinggi Kecamatan Lubuk Sikaping, Kabupaten Pasaman, Sabtu (25/10/2025).
Ketua Badan Kehormatan DPRD Provinsi Sumbar ini menjelaskan kepada warga masyarakat Durian Tinggi, kalau tidak cermat menanganinya akan menjadi masalah kesehatan dan lingkungan.
Tetapi kalau cermat maka sampah juga bisa membawa manfaat dan memberikan penghasilan ekonomi keluarga.
Kegiatan sosialisasi Perda No.1 tahun 2025 ini dihadiri langsung oleh mitra kerja dari Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Provinsi Sumatera Barat yakni Yosmike Yusra, M.Si dan Devi Hendra, M.Si, serta diikuti Camat Lubuk Sikaping Lotfriedo Rama, Wali Nagari Durian Tinggi Hendra Gunawan, tokoh masyarakat J. Imam Majolelo, Bamus, KAN, TP-PKK, LPM, perangkat nagari, tokoh pemuda, perempuan dan pelajar.
Antusiasme warga mengikuti sosialisasi ini terlihat tinggi karena isu pengelolaan sampah kini menjadi perhatian utama ditengah meningkatnya volume sampah rumah tangga.
Dalam sambutannya, J. Imam Majolelo mewakili tokoh masyarakat menyampaikan dukungan penuh terhadap penerapan Perda tersebut. Ia menilai kebersihan lingkungan adalah tanggung jawab bersama yang harus dimulai dari rumah tangga dan komunitas terkecil di nagari.
Wali Nagari Durian Tinggi, Hendra Gunawan mengatakan bahwa nagari terus berupaya membangun kesadaran warga untuk memilah sampah sejak dari sumbernya. Ia juga menyoroti pentingnya pembentukan Bank Sampah Nagari agar sampah anorganik dapat dimanfaatkan menjadi barang bernilai ekonomi.
Sementara itu, Camat Lubuk Sikaping Lotfriedo Rama menegaskan pentingnya kolaborasi antara masyarakat dan pemerintah. “Perubahan perilaku dalam mengelola sampah menjadi kunci utama. Pemerintah nagari tidak bisa bekerja sendiri tanpa dukungan aktif warga,” ujarnya.
Dalam kesempatan itu, Yosmike Yusra, M.Si dari DLH Provinsi Sumbar menjelaskan bahwa Perda ini mengatur pemilahan sampah organik, anorganik, dan B3K (Bahan Berbahaya, Beracun, dan Kritis).
Sampah organik seperti sisa makanan dan daun dapat dijadikan kompos, sedangkan sampah anorganik seperti plastik, logam, dan kaca bisa didaur ulang. Sementara itu, sampah B3K memerlukan penanganan khusus agar tidak mencemari lingkungan.
Pemaparan materi dilanjutkan oleh Devi Hendra, M.Si yang menyoroti kondisi Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA) di berbagai daerah yang sudah melebihi kapasitas dan masih menggunakan sistem terbuka (open dumping).
Ia menekankan perlunya perubahan menuju sanitary landfill serta pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui Bank Sampah agar pengelolaan lebih berkelanjutan. (*)
