Padang, Salingkanews.com – – Anggota Komisi V DPRD Provinsi Sumatera Barat, Salamat Simamora menerima langsung kunjungan kerja pimpinan dan anggota Komisi IV DPRD Provinsi Bengkulu di Ruang Pertemuan Komisi V DPRD Sumbar, Kamis (25/9).
Kunjungan ini bertujuan untuk melakukan koordinasi dan studi tiru mengenai pengelolaan anggaran jaminan perlindungan masyarakat, khususnya bagi tenaga informal yang rentan terhadap risiko sosial dan ekonomi.
Dalam diskusi tersebut, kedua belah pihak saling berbagi pengalaman, pandangan, serta strategi yang telah diterapkan di daerah masing-masing.
Isu perlindungan sosial bagi pekerja informal menjadi sorotan utama, mengingat kelompok ini masih sering dihadapkan pada berbagai kerentanan tanpa jaminan yang memadai.
Salamat Simamora menyampaikan apresiasi atas kunjungan Komisi IV DPRD Bengkulu tersebut. Ia menegaskan pentingnya sinergi antar daerah dalam merumuskan kebijakan yang benar-benar berpihak kepada masyarakat.
“Kita berharap hasil koordinasi ini dapat memperkuat kebijakan perlindungan sosial, meningkatkan efektivitas alokasi anggaran, serta memberi manfaat nyata bagi masyarakat, terutama bagi tenaga kerja informal yang selama ini rawan terhadap risiko sosial maupun ekonomi,” ujar Salamat.
DPRD Sumbar menegaskan komitmennya untuk terus memperluas kerja sama lintas daerah, agar kebijakan yang lahir tidak hanya bersifat administratif, tetapi juga mampu menghadirkan perlindungan yang lebih inklusif dan berdampak langsung bagi masyarakat. (*)
